MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR

My brothers and sisters, greetings in the name of our blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On March 18^th, 2012, we dedicated our New Cathedral Building unto the Lord.

Habakkuk 2:2-3:  "Then the Lord replied, write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets, so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.  Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay”.

The vision of building this Cathedral was not my idea; it was a vision from the Lord.  I drew the plan for the building as I was inspired by the Lord.

This plan did not come out of a magazine or copied from some other building, it was an inspiration from the Lord, and I knew it not at the time.

It was not the membership who built this building because we were only a few, but God used the few like Gideon, to build a 6.5 million dollar church facility known as the Church of God, Southwest Cathedral.

The vision now speaks to every one who looks at it, this is the fullness of time for the Cathedral to be completed; it is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.  We the south-westerners give all glory and honor to the Lord for great things He has done!

A milestone has been reached in the life of the Church of God, Southwest Cathedral and now our goal is to disciple men and women for the Kingdom of God through the preached word and personal evangelism.
